we coincide on so many things
a time a place a dimension
and though its hardly the best of starts
it’s not terrible

but two weeks on it’s a different scene
which i find less than amsuing
i’d no idea my position was so untenable

you didn’t want to get involved
in my ecstatic celebration
so i was staring in the face
of overwhelming humiliation

would follow from this situation

i’m so impatient and restless
stabbing wild and inaccurately into the dark
my cryastal balls wrapped in sellotape
i’m failing in my predictions

i know that you wouldn’t fail me now
